Odd Leveler issues

We have a 2005 Bounder 35e with only 20k, we replaced the Atwood Controller about three months ago and everything was working fine, but we went to Ventura, California for Thanksgiving and experienced a lot of rain, but when we got home the left rear level was saying it wasn't up all the way. However, we were still able to put them up and down manually. Yesterday we took it out to have the tires checked for NYE trip and at this point, couldn't use them manually and every time we applied the brakes it would try and retract all of the levelers, this was only for a second because they are all up. We disconnected the controller and to our dismay, it still attempted to retract them each time we braked. Strange. So we disconnected each leveler from underneath so it would stop making the noise and not ruin them altogether. Help!
Thank you,
John B

Some things to try:
here. Resetting the board with the legs fully up, would be the first thing to try. Doing it with the legs fully extended would be another thing to try, but don't do it if it's windy.
The reset procedure is
here, but sometimes you have to unplug the controller to get a full reset.
The fact that the brakes are involved might suggest a voltage issue, though the controller is supposed to tell you if there's low voltage. How old are your batteries?
I would disconnect the plugs at each jack, clean up any corrosion, and put some dielectric grease on them before putting them back together.
If you have a test probe, you could also check the voltage before and after the plug at each jack when they're extending or retracting. The voltage will be positive one way and negative going the other way. The important think will be the voltage.

Thank you Bob I will try all your suggestions today. We are doing a staycation at a local RV resort New Years Eve and can try your suggestions. The batteries are only 4 months old.
Thanks again
