If you want to get notifications to your email when something new is posted in one of the forums (Bob Ray set up 6 of them on this site), you’ll need to enter that particular forum (ie: “Repairs”) and click on “Subscribe Forum” and the bottom of the page. It’s a bit odd that there is already a check-mark next to “Subscribe Forum” making it look like you’re already subscribed, but your not. You need to click on the check-mark to actually subscribe to it. Subscribing to one forum section does not subscribe you to the others.

Once you’ve done this, you can manage your notification subscriptions by going to the User Control Panel (click on your logon name in the upper right) and select “Manage Subscriptions”. Lots of other options are available to allow you to follow just one topic instead of all posts.
