Dometic Refrigerator NDR1292 has quit

After 12 years, our Dometic Refrigerator has died. The RV repairman said it will have to be replaced but our decision is whether to go with the Electric/Propane combination at $4,000 to $6,000 depending on model and labor or go with the Electric only model.

I am leaning towards the Electric only unit since we usually run the generator or hookup at a campsite.

What are the suggestions of the Bounder Folks?
